Earned the Vardon Trophy for the lowest scoring average

 

Won the Byron Nelson Trophy for most number of PGA Tour wins (9) (and had another 9 Top Tens)

 

Earned a PGA TOUR-record $10,905,166

 

With 12 wins on the European PGA Tour, named the European Tour  Player of the Year for 2004

 

Golf Writers’ Player of the Year

 

Sports Illustrated Golf Player of the Year

 

Became the sixth player in TOUR history to accumulate nine wins in a season

 

Led the TOUR in top-10s for the second straight season with 18 in 29 events.

 

Extended his consecutive top-10 streak to 12 straight, two behind Jack Nicklaus for the modern-day record and longest on TOUR since Nicklaus had 12 straight in 1975.

 

Captured the Fall Finish presented by PricewaterhouseCoopers for the third consecutive year on the strength of four wins and a runner-up in six starts.

 

In the jungle the lion (Singh) is the King of the Beasts: even the tiger has to give way;

and so young Tiger Woods gave way to the senior Singh, in 2003 and 2004.
